Climatic testing

Climatic testing used to be required on military equipment alone, now more and more stringent specifications are being introduced into commercial contracts. Climatic Services are prepared for this growth and have a test house set up at our premises in Fife. We have been carrying out in-house tests for our local customers for over 5 years and are now able to offer this service nation-wide.

We can offer:

Temperature testing from -80^o C to 300^oC
                 
Humidity tests from 10%RH to 98%RH
                   
Thermal shock tests from -70^o C to 180^oC  with change over times between 5 and 60 seconds.
This is achieved by transferring the product between hot and cold temperature zones automatically.

Stress screening with variable rates of temperature change.

Thermal cycling tests of several hours to several weeks at any of the above temperatures and humidities.

Corrosion testing with our salt mist cabinet.
